LED display solution company Leyard & Planar, announced the company’s intent to acquire eyevis, a display solution producer. Through this geographic expansion, the companies will better serve customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), with combined marketing, sales, installation support, and customer service.
eyevis, a German maker of large screen LED display systems, provides and integrates visualization systems for professional applications in control rooms, broadcast, virtual reality, and simulation. The company’s solutions incorporate displays, graphics controllers, software, and accessories. Teracue, a manufacturer and supplier of professional IPTV and video-networking systems that eyevis acquired in 2014 will be part of the proposed acquisition.

The proposed acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to finalize in the second calendar quarter of 2018.
