Watersprint’s remotely controllable water treatment system uses Violeds UV LED technology. The system comes in an ultra-compact module which Water sprint says can be used by industry, businesses, and ordinary homes. The system can be monitored via Wi-Fi. Sterile, pollution-free water can be available to drink at all times.
While boiling of water will kill bacteria and viruses, after a certain period even a vacuum sealed water bottle will eventually become contaminated, According to Watersprint. Water filters can filter out some contaminates. However, viruses and bacteria can still exist in pipes or water tanks that can cause various diseases, Watersprint said. The company says that UV-LED technology provides a safe environment to astronauts of the space station and has been proven to be excellent at sterilizing and removing viruses and bacteria by more than 99.9% .
Muhammad Yunus (Muhammad Yunus) Professor of Bangladesh won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006, because of his efforts to make water supply in Bangladesh safe and clean. Mr. Yunus has been promoting micro Production Center (Micro Production Center) project supplies. Watersprint water purification system was supplied to the Yunus Center for the same project.
Seoul Viosys and Watersprint intend to offer the clean water supply system to the apoximately 750 million people worldwide who do not have access to clean drinking water.
Watersprint Inc. Anders Ruland representative noted that Violeds technology is a core technology of clean water supply solutions. Ruland said that he is honored that his company can cooperate with Seoul Viosys on producing systems that use the global UV disinfection technology.
Seoul Viosys representative Kim Jejo said that he hopes that his company’s state-of-the-art sterilization technology Violeds and Watersprint’s water treatment system will bring water sterilization and purification of drinking water to people around the world.
