Phoseon Technology released its newest product, the FireJet™ FJ601 UV LED curing solution. The new UV-curing solution simplifies retrofits with a self-contatined air-cooled design, according to marketing communications manager Marine Faucher. Phoseon says that the FireJet FJ601 is perfect for rotary screen, flexographic, and web offset applications.
The FireJet FJ601 comes with the company’s TargetCure™ technology. The TargetCure technology “provides users with stable, consistent and precise UV curing output,” Faucher said. TargetCure also enables converters to perform food and medical-safe jobs employing LED low migration inks in addition to shrink film, and standard label jobs, Faucher added.
FJ601 UV LED Curing Light Sources Range from 8 to 20 inches in Width
According to Phoseon, the FJ601’s light sources are available for web-widths ranging from 8-20 inches (200-500mm) and offer a high-power output for press speeds up to 750fpm (230m/min). Phoseon products include fully integrated LED retrofit solutions for narrow-web printing that consist of station-by station building blocks such as Flex Tower modular power and control system and light sources, Faucher said.
Phoseon’s LED technology lets those converting to a UV-LED solution print with a more reliable curing process on thin heat sensitive substrates at faster curing speeds, Faucher concluded.
Phoseon will be showcasing its products at booth 6D35 at LabelExpo Europe 2017.
