ETi Solid State Lighting, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Elec-Tech Solid State Lighting (HK) Ltd. based in Chicago, Illinois USA, reported that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office approved their patent for the company’s technology for selecting color temperatures of white light, Patent # 10,091,855.
According to ETi, the addition of its Color Preference® technology to LED fixtures, downlights, and LED tubes lets the installer use an integrated switch to select the preferred color of white light from a variety of correlated color temperature (CCT) settings. Furthermore, these selectable color temperature products allow distributors to provide products with the desired CCTs while stocking fewer individual stock keeping units (SKUs).
